With Love!

Sharing a little Valentine vignette and some roses
from last summer's garden.

a pretty Valentine from a friend

Here is a pretty little bouquet I picked in early summer and
while I don't remember the name of this rose it is one of my favorites.

It blooms the same time as my mock orange and they make a pretty pair.

Wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day from me!!!
I hope your Valentine's includes some pretty flowers, even if
they are a treat to you from you!

Ohhhhh, looks at all those roses. I don't know of a flower I don't love. I hope you and your sweetie have a nice Valentines day. When did Valentine's Day go so crazy? The sweet note or pretty card are a thing of the past. The stores are pink & red explosion! I know I gained 10 lbs just walking down the candy isle. It's on to dreaming of Spring and working in the garden plus lots of pretty flowers. Yes, I have the time now - retired!!!!!!

I always get so excited when get notification of one of your new posts, I know it is going to offer me a beautiful spot in my day.

The rose is so lovely, it looks like an old once-blooming rose, maybe a Gallica? If you ever remember the name I would love to try and grow one.

Happy Valentine's day.

I've re-read your words over and feel so encouraged that you enjoy my writing dear June. I would have loved to become a writer when I left school, but back then it wasn't considered to be 'a proper job'. There is such a difference now, I asked a girl next to me in a queue at a bookshop a few years back what degree she was taking and was surprised when she answered, "Writing...I'm going to be a Writer."
It really cheers me to know that you enjoy my small offerings dear June.

Oooh! I do hope that you get some rain soon, tell you what Manchester can ALWAYS spare you some of that commodity! ;)))) I think most of us Mancunians are born with webbed feet.

Much love and hugs,
Jane x

Oh what a simply delightful felted basket full of Valentine love. The little hearts are sweet enough to be hanging all year to remind you of the love you receive everyday!

Could that rose be a French Delbard rose June. The magenta color is truly magnificent. I can imagine it dried also! It looks simply divine in that simple arrangement.

Sending love and hugs belatedly to you my Valentine friend today and everyday!
